Arrow: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
2. Oliver Queen
An eternally selfish playboy billionaire. A shipwrecked young man who had fend for himself for the first time in his life. A hardened vigilante that showed no mercy to those he targeted. A hope-inspiring superhero intent on saving the multiverse.
Oliver Queen's journey over the last seven years on Arrow isn't just incredible, it's admirable. Here is a man who once thought about nothing more than himself who, through a horrifying experience of riches to rags, transformed into the very man who is destined to save the Arrowverse from complete annihilation at the hands of the Anti-Monitor.
Through strong writing in the first couple of seasons, and Stephen Amell's always-compelling performance, Oliver has become the hero that Star City (and the Arrowverse itself) always needed. More than that, he developed into a stronger character and, most importantly, a much better person - and in doing so, he realised what really mattered in life.
While later seasons threatened to undo the character's journey to greatness through his constant hypocrisy (not-to-mention his obsession with repeating the same mistakes over and over again), Oliver weathered that storm and, as a result, is set to go out as one of the Arrowverse's strongest characters.
