Arrow: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
32. Ra's Al Ghul
When we first heard that Ra's Al Ghul was coming to Arrow, we were intrigued. After all, he is one of Batman's most famous enemies. Unfortunately, that was the problem, as the introduction of Ra's marked the moment in which the show officially became a watered-down Batman series, as the iconic villain wanted Oliver to become his heir (even though we now know The Dark Knight exists in this universe).
While that would have been forgivable (at a push), the character ended up becoming a watered-down version of himself. Though he certainly looked the part, and Matt Nable did a great job with what he had, this Ra's was petty and, despite his actions, he lacked a sense of purpose and just didn't feel all that threatening.
