Oliver may have been missing for five years, but we learned during the season two finale that he didn't spend all of that time on the island. No, Oliver was whisked away from Lian Yu following his battle with Slade Wilson and the destruction of Captain Ivo's ship Amazo. Now, he's apparently in the custody of Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S. and the Suicide Squad. What exactly Waller wants with Oliver is unclear, but you can bet we're excited to find out. As interesting as Oliver's time on the island was, we were running the risk of getting a bit bored with the flashbacks, which were steadily becoming more and more obligatory instead of fundamentally important. Moving things to Hong Kong, and introducing other DC characters like Katana (who will be played by The Wolverine's Rila Fukushima) is bound to shake things up in a fun and exciting way.
