Arrow Season 3: 10 Things That Must Happen

8. The List Returns

The List is a book given to Oliver Queen by his father, Robert Queen, who pleads with his son to use the list to right his wrongs. The list is compiled of names of people whose dirty business has hurt Starling City. After the success of The Undertaking, Oliver abandons the list and focuses his attention on helping the people of Starling, rather than satisfying his one-man crusade. The list is an excellent plot point that unfortunately suffers from overexposure while also guilty of making the First Season appear formulaic at times, but the fact is, it€™s still a plot point that needs to be explored further. Stephen Amell has confirmed the List will make a reappearance in the near future and with Starling City still recuperating from Slade Wilson€™s army, now is as good a time as any for the corrupt to pay their dues. Rather than Oliver using it as a hit list, he could use information gathered as a means to get the corrupt to right their wrongs and help those less fortunate or face justice. With Laurel likely to become the next District Attorney, an interesting partnership could form between her and The Arrow as he hands over all the evidence collected while Laurel finishes the job in the courtroom.
