The big twist of the episode - although it had already been theorised online - was the fact that the Calculator, the man Team Arrow spent much of the 40-minute runtime battling against, was Felicity's dad. It seemed completely obvious once it was said, with the scenes of the pair sat at computers virtually going against each other - and again, some more great Felicity moments - showing the similarities between the two, and then him sat next to Oliver, admiringly watching his daughter give an excellent presentation. Felicity's dad coming into the show changes things quite a bit, and there are a lot of unknowns going forwards now. How much will he be involved? Does he know that it was his own daughter stopping him destroying the city? Will she find out it was her dad trying to destroy the city? Will she let him back into her life? How will Donna react? There's some great potential here, in particular for some excellent Felicity-centric storylines, and how this plays out next week and going forwards after that is going to be really interesting to see. A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
