Arrow Season 4: 12 Questions We're Asking After 'Haunted'

10. What Is The Purpose Of Oliver's Tattoo?

So, that's the story behind the tattoo on Ollie's ribcage. In truth, there wasn't too much of a mystery surrounding it before this episode, as it'd mostly just been assumed it was a generic tattoo with perhaps some personal significance, and I'm guessing anyone paying really close attention to Oliver's stomach isn't doing so for the ink-work. They've very much cultivated a mystery for it now though, as Constantine uses that mystical object he finds on the island in order to give him it. He then tells him that it'll come in useful later on, for dealing with guys like Reiter. Hmm... Ignoring the fact it's the world's quickest and most pain-free tattoo, it throws up the questions of exactly what magical properties the tattoo holds, and how he'll be using it in the future?
