Arrow Season 4: 12 Questions We're Asking After 'Legends Of Yesterday'

7. Should We Expect Any More Legends Of Tomorrow Teases?

It€™s natural that with The CW about to launch a massive spinoff in Legends Of Tomorrow that Arrow has made a point to keep hyping it up. But at a certain point, Arrow needs to be about Green Arrow. Much of Season 4 has been about the resurrection of Sara and rescuing Ray, two supporting characters who are going to be major players in the spinoff. The problem is that these storylines are largely detracting from the rest of the plot. Part of the fun of Arrow is seeing him interact with other superheroes, but the crux of the show has always been Oliver€™s character, and there€™s no way to experience that when so much of the story is being handed to setting up other characters and plot threads for a different show. With Arrow€™s mid-season finale airing next week, the right move for the show would be to focus in on the Damien Darhk conflict and leaving out all the rest. Judging from the trailers, that looks to be the case, and Arrow can resume being about just Arrow for a little bit.
