Arrow Season 4: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

18. Damien Darhk Makes His Mark

For a lot of shows with debuting villains, they take their time to introduce their new €˜big bads€™, having them lurking in the shadows and manipulating proceedings before eventually stepping forward and showing the world what an utter b*stard they are. Not Arrow (this year, at least). Only 7 minutes into this latest season we saw the arrival of this year€™s uber-rogue, Damien Darhk. Not only that, it wouldn€™t take long before we€™d get a showcase of just what Darhk could do. Not happy with merely killing his own men on a whim, he€™d even go on to tangle with the rebranded Green Arrow. And not happy with just tangling with the Master Bowman, Darhk would actually start to suck the very energy out of the body of his foe. It was an eye-opening arrival for Damien Darhk and one that marked him out as a major player in The CW€™s DC realm.

Once described as the Swiss Army Knife of WhatCulture, Andrew can usually be found writing, editing, or presenting on a wide range of topics. As a lifelong wrestling fan, horror obsessive, and comic book nerd, he's been covering those topics professionally as far back as 2010.
