7. Roy Returns

Roy Harper was a hugely popular fan-favourite during his run on the show, largely thanks to his predilection for awesome (if sometimes pointless) parkour, and he's had a couple of big farewells from the show already (once in Season 3, and then again when he returned for an episode in Season 4).

Despite those goodbyes, the question of whether actor Colton Haynes will be back comes up constantly, and many viewers were left disappointed when he ultimately didn't return during the fifth season. That should be put right in Season 6.

It's not much of a stretch to say that sounds like confirmation Roy will indeed be back this year. The question then becomes just what will they do with the character? If he is returning, you'd think it's to help Oliver out, but also to further explore his relationship with Thea. There's also the possibility of a run-in with Slade too; Deathstroke led to Roy being poisoned with mirakuru, so there's unfinished business there, especially with Wilson looking to atone for the past.

Mostly, though, it does come back to Thea. She and Roy have one of the deepest relationships on the show by this point, and still love each other. With Thea increasingly on the outside of Team Arrow, there's a possibility the show could put them together for good, giving each the happy ending they deserve (especially as Arrow is presumably nearing its endpoint).
