Arrow Season 7: 10 Easter Eggs & References You Might Have Missed In 'Inmate 4587'

9. Titans

Arrow Roy Harper

When Season 7 opened, we were immediately introduced to Oliver's grim new environment through a montage of clips that conveyed just how frustrated the former Green Arrow had become with his repetitive life at Slabside Maximum Security Prison. As this happened on our screens, the song "Madness" by Ruelle played in the background, and it really added to that feeling of, well, madness.

This isn't the first time that DC has utilised this uneasy song in the past year to promote the madness of one of their shows, as it also played over the controversial first trailer for Titans that debuted back in July. It's rather ironic that Arrow used the song only days after the first episode of the DC Universe's new show premiere.
