8. Slabside Penitentiary
After revealing his secret identity as the Green Arrow to the world in the Season 6 finale, Oliver Queen was escorted to prison by the FBI. Flash forward five months and he is serving out his life sentence at Slabside Super Maximum Security Prison.
Fans of the comics will know the former vigilante's surroundings are a direct reference to the infamous Slabside Penitentiary. The prison, commonly referred to as "The Slab", made its DC Comics debut in the mid '90s. It was originally located in New Jersey but, after severe riots broke out in the iconic The Joker's Last Laugh arc, it was moved to Antarctica. Could Arrow's version of Slabside suffer the same fate?
