1. Join The (Canary) Club

One of the episode's less-exciting moments came when Dinah handed Rene's daughter, Zoey, a pendant that just so happened to feature the Black Canary logo. Of course, this was a hint at something and because Arrow isn't exactly known for it's subtlety, we didn't even have to wait five minutes for the answer as the flash-forwards revealed that future Dinah had taken future Zoey under her wing, suggesting that she was a Canary-in-training.

Now, ever since Arrow began, the show has had trouble due to its portrayals of the Black Canary. The character is considered comic book royalty and yet, the showrunners haven't been able to do her justice, killing her off only to pawn the mantle off on original creations and less important characters.

For some reason, the Arrow showrunners seem to think that the Black Canary mantle is interchangeable when it clearly never was. Unfortunately, this twist suggests that, even without Marc Guggenheim at the helm, the new creative team is destined to repeat old mistakes. Let's hope that we're very wrong.
