Arrow Season 7: 3 Ups & 1 Down From 'Level Two'
1. A Step Into The Light
Felicity's desperation to stop Diaz led to her kidnapping a Longbow Hunter. This week, she intended on getting those answers no matter what and, as a result, turned to the one person who wants Diaz gone as much as she does and would be willing to go even further to make it happen: Black Siren.
The former enemies made a surprisingly good team as Laurel attempted the best torture tactics she had to offer. But when that wouldn't break The Silencer, Felicity wanted to take things further. This was when things really got interesting.
From the rage in Felicity's eyes to her hunger for revenge, Laurel recognised all the traits of a person about to cross the line and, in a surprising turn of events, she offered her some much-needed words of wisdom - recalling how the death of her father and Earth-2's Oliver led her down a dark path that she almost never returned from. The pair's brief heart-to-heart actually helped Felicity come up with a way of tricking The Silencer into escaping, potentially leading them right to Diaz.
This was a major step forwards for both women. Not only was Felicity no longer blinded by rage (thanks to Black Siren), Laurel had done the right thing and ultimately edged herself a little closer to achieving that redemption that she craves. Moreover, the pair made quite the team and could very well end up working together to take down Diaz - and that would be a great thing.
