Arrow Season 7: 4 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Emerald Archer'

1. Making Progress

Arrow Season 7 Oliver Dinah
The CW

Throughout the season, Mayor Pollard has made it incredibly clear that she refuses to tolerate vigilantism in Star City. This intolerance made her Town Hall debate with Oliver the perfect backdrop for the vigilante slayer's attack as the villain showed up and, quite frankly, raised hell. However, knowing that the SCPD wouldn't be enough to stop the armoured monster, Oliver agreed to let his friends help him and, as a result, Team Arrow was back.

Their eventual defeat of Chimera saw Mr. Terrific, Wild Dog and Spartan surrounded by the SCPD and taken into custody. Despite Laurel's efforts to help them, their violation of the Anti-Vigilante Act ensured that prison time was in their future. That is, until Mayor Pollard, somewhat moved by the fact that Dinah used her Canary Cry to save her life, came to rescue as she instructed the former Black Canary to deputize all of Team Arrow - making them official agents of the SCPD.

After almost a year-long break from Team Arrow, it will finally be nice to see them back in action on the show, and their return will undoubtedly move the story forward, as its growing increasingly obvious that it's going to take a whole team to defeat Diaz and his Longbow Hunters.

It made complete sense for one of the foundations of the show to make its long-awaited comeback in the 150th episode and, following that impressive fight scene, it's clear that we're going to see a lot more of Team Arrow going forward.

Now, for the negative...
