Unlike the other heroes on the show, Emiko's mission wasn't about saving the city, it revolved around locating the man who killed her mother and, as the episode's opening montage revealed, she was successful in working her way through every target, until a single name remained on her list: William Glenmorgan.

If that name does happen to sound familiar to you, that's because William Glenmorgan is actually a DC Comics character. Perhaps best known by his alter-ego Congo Bill, Glenmorgan travelled the world before eventually settling in Africa.

However, he was eventually gifted with a magic ring that could transfer his own consciousness into the body of the legendary Golden Gorilla and, from then on, he was known as Congorilla. Following that, he even became a temporary member of the Justice League.
