Arrow Season 7: 5 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Inheritance'

4. Emiko Queen Vs. Oliver Queen

Arrow Emiko Oliver Queen
The CW

When Oliver discovered that the reason the Archer Programme wasn't working was because somebody had planted a jammer in the bunker, he suddenly found himself staring down the point of an arrow. Emiko, realising that her cover had been blown (and not really caring), called off the pretence and threatened to take her brother out then and there. But this is Oliver Queen we're talking about and, family or no family, he ain't going down without a fight.

With that, the pair engaged in what was undoubtedly one of the finest hand-to-hand battles we have seen this season, as Oliver attempted to appeal to his sister's conscience while they exchanged blows.

We're at that point in the season where a lot of the early conflict has been ironed out and, with that, the team is back together, so we end up getting a lot of generic group fight scenes. This, however, this was something quite different. There were no awkwardly wide shots trying to capture everyone involved, just a lot of close-ups on an emotionally-charged battle between two siblings.

It was well-choreographed, well-shot and, all in all, incredibly well-executed.
