Arrow Season 7: 5 Ups & 3 Downs From 'Star City Slayer'

3. Jack Moore's Performance

Arrow Season 7 William Clayton
The CW

Each member of the Arrow cast did an incredible job this week, conveying every single emotional ounce of what was undoubtedly a harrowing experience for each of their characters. However, the strongest performance didn't actually come from one of the episode's many heart-racing scenes, but instead stemmed from a much more emotional one.

When Oliver confronted William over calling his grandparents, he was shocked when his son finally erupted - blaming him for everything that has gone wrong and accusing him of robbing him of a normal life. With a raised voice and emotional facial expressions, Jack Moore held his own opposite Arrow's leading man and turned in his strongest performance yet.

This comes just after he delivered an equally compelling turn in last week's episode as William struggled with the real reason he was expelled - highlighting that the worst thing about his apparent departure from the show is that it means we won't get to see Moore shine like he has in recent weeks. He was nothing short of incredible here and, quite frankly, deserves more chances to showcase that.
