Arrow Series Finale Review: 12 Ups & 4 Downs From 'Fadeout'

2. THAT Fight Scene

Arrow Oliver Queen Season 1
The CW

Arrow is responsible for some of the greatest fight choreography to ever take place on television, and yet not even that could have readied us for the magical melee that 'Fadeout' offered.

Taking place during the flashback arc, the nail-biting showdown saw a lone Oliver take out countless men on his way to getting his hands on his target. In the process, he punched, kicked, wounded and walked his way through everything that moved.

The pace that the action moved at was intense, the choreography was seamless, the cinematography was magnificent (much of it took place in a single shot) and the length of it was a real treat. And, as The Hood swung through the air in slow motion, it was hard not to smile - because this was a fitting final tribute and last stand for Oliver Queen, Stephen Amell and the entire show's production team.

This was worthy of a standing ovation.
