Arrow Series Finale Review: 12 Ups & 4 Downs From 'Fadeout'
1. It Still Missed Oliver's Presence
While the episode itself did a solid job paying tribute to virtually every aspect of Oliver Queen's legacy (and believe this writer when he says that we'll get to that), parts of it still felt rather off... simply because Oliver wasn't there.
Sure, he showed up in the flashbacks and in the end, but the heart and soul of the show was missing without Stephen Amell's presence in the episode's main narrative. Granted, that was the desired effect - as the characters clearly felt the same way - but as this was the final episode, this writer thinks we can be forgiven for wanting just that little bit more of the Emerald Archer.
Now, for the positives...
