9. The Dead Are Back And Star City Is Safe
Ever since the Multiverse was reborn, Star City was never the same again. According to Rene, crime in Star City disappeared overnight when Oliver sacrificed himself and that remains the status quo until 2040. That is until Laurel reveals that Star City is destined to fall in 2041.
Aside from that, most of future Team Arrow’s memories have been rebooted to align with the new future after Crisis. Mia and William grew up together, Zoe Ramirez never dies, JJ is engaged to Mia and Cornor has just gotten out of rehab.
Some of the dead characters have also been brought back to life. In the series finale, Moira Queen, Emiko Queen, Quentin Lance, Tommy Merlyn are present at Oliver’s funeral. However, Robert Queen still remains dead and Earth 1-Laurel is nowhere to be found. Moira explains that Oliver could only change things that did not change him.
In other words, had Oliver brought Robert back to life, he would have not become the Green Arrow or Spectre.
