Arrowverse: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best
26. Arrow Season 3
The season in which the cracks began to show, Arrow's third offering was a mixed bag as it devolved into a diluted Batman story that got too caught up in the melodrama along the way.
Ra's Al Ghul had promise as a villain, but the Batman similarities and the execution of his 'be-my-successor-or-else' tantrums undercut the story they were attempting to tell. Yes, it made for some fantastic episodes but there were simply too many of them to play with and not enough story to spread out. And to top it all off, this is where Felicity's evolution into the self-centred monster she became in Season 4 really began.
In spite of all that, the Starling City trilogy that follows the midseason premiere is bloody fantastic.
