9. Papa Ash (Lee Majors)
One of the more interesting casting tidbits heading into season two of Ash vs. Evil Dead: Lee Majors (yes, the Six Million Dollar Man) has been cast as Ash's dad.
The resemblance between the two actors is uncanny, and we can assume the casting call read something along the lines of "most have prominent chin." In any case, could this open up a ton of "Daddy issues" for our surly hero?
Ash's past hasn't really been touched on since the early days of the Evil Dead series. Though there were some specific reasons for this, especially in the first season of the show, bringing in his pop certainly gives fans something to look forward to: some backstory on why Ash is the way he is.
From what we've seen, Papa Ash is a bit of a rough womanizer himself, so it's clear that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in this case.
