7. A Little More Info On Ruby
Ruby (Lucy Lawless) continues to be a big question mark in Ash vs. Evil Dead.
Revealed to be a Dark One (and author of the flesh-bound Necronomicon), Ruby is a huge grey area. She's clearly evil, but is there greater evil lurking in the shadows? That seems to be a good possibility. For all her dark overtones, Ruby still at times helped Ash, and ultimately, when he cut a deal with this particular devil, she held up her end of the bargain.
With Ruby back in season two, it's safe to say that fans can look forward to a little more info on this particular Dark One. As well as (we hope) some more backstory on the Dark Ones themselves. How many more Dark Ones are out there? Are some more powerful than others? What are their ultimate goals? What does Ruby want, and why in hell did she choose Ash of all people to align herself with?
There's lots of ground to cover here, and it's an area that Ash vs. Evil Dead season two needs to delve deeper into.
