Ballers Season 2: 5 Ups & 4 Downs

1. The Ending Is Excellent

Without giving the game away, season two ends on a high not only for this season, but arguably the entire show.

A fantastic climactic speech from Spencer marks an acting high-point for Johnson and notes major development for Spence as a character, finally discovering the emotional truth the series has been seeking for 20 episodes.

There's also a compelling cliffhanger for next season that could either see things branch off onto something different...or just restore the status quo. All fans can do is wait and see, but if season three explores some of the terrific dramatic potential here, it could be something really special.
