Marion was a character with a dual nature, so bearing that in mind Rose McIver might be an excellent choice. She's currently wowing audiences as one of TV's most contradictory characters in DC Comics adaptation iZombie. McIver plays Liv, a seemingly sweet young woman with a major personality flaw - she's dead! And she manages to help the police whilst passing herself off as fresh... talk about a finger in every pie!

Her youthful looks mean she'd fit in well with the established teen cast, and makes her a likely bet for an expanded role. Marion doesn't just have to be a girl who rocks up before checking out minutes later. Her backstory alone - with the people she stole from perhaps on her tail - would slot her neatly into the ever-growing list of Bates Motel's secretive regulars. McIver has also been treading a more intelligent path than many of her contemporaries, appearing in some notable short films over the past couple of years. Definitely one for producers to watch if they were on the lookout for a new Marion.
