Whilst the show does concentrate on Norman being the psycho, has anyone considered that it could be genetic? Not only is Norma uncomfortably close to her son, she has regular emotional breakdowns during almost every episode and she did think it was a good idea to involve her son in hiding dead bodies that she was responsible for. She was almost too accepting of Norman murdering his father and although she knows about the other murders he's committed, she's still wanting him around. Vera Farmiga is doing an exceptional job in her portrayal of Norma Bates and it would be good to see more craziness from her in the next season.
