Batman: 10 Lessons Gotham TV Series Can Learn From Arrow

9... And Surround Him With A Strong Supporting Cast

Arrow2 Thus far, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D shows the problem with having a strong central character with no interesting supporting characters to back him up. Even with Clark Gregg killing it as Agent Coulson, he can't be in every scene 40 minutes a week. Arrow on the other hand has a phenomenally strong supporting cast. Along with Amell, David Ramsey and Emily Bett Rickards make a very strong Arrow team. Katie Cassidy is a sufficient love interest (even if the show may have pulled the trigger on getting them together too soon). And fan favorites like Paul Blackthorne, Collin Salmon and Susanna Thompson provide gravitas to the proceedings.
