Batman Beyond: 10 Best Villains

9. Stalker

Batman Beyond Return Of The Joker
Warner Bros.

Continuing the trend of Spider-Man villains given a cyberpunk paint job, we have the Batman universe's answer to Kraven the Hunter, Stalker.

Like Kraven, Stalker is an infamous big-game hunter who decided that hunting jaguars, lions, and other animals that can kill you with barely a thought was for weak babies. So he came to Gotham to hunt down this new Batman he had been hearing so much about.

What makes Stalker different is the fact that he's powered by cybernetic enhancements that actually make him a match for the new Batman's advanced weaponry, as well as the fact that he's voiced brilliantly by the irreplaceable Carl Lumbly.

Such an amazing performance, combined with the character's often morally grey nature, helps to set him apart from the Marvel villain he was so obviously based on. A shame then that he only appears in two episodes, neither of which set the world on fire.
