Batwoman Review: 7 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part 2'

While there was so much good in this episode (and we'll get to all of it shortly), there was also one clear weak link, and that was Mia's quest to resurrect her father Oliver Queen using the Lazarus pit on another earth.

The death of the Green Arrow in 'Part 1' left all of us in shock - with many genuinely believing that it was the end for the Emerald Archer. So unfortunately, the decision to dive straight back into resurrecting him (and in such a formulaic way) removes the element surprise from later episodes because now it's just an inevitability.

More than that, it's hard not to cringe every time that the Arrowverse brings up the Lazarus Pit because it's become nothing more than a contrivance that they can all upon and delete whenever necessary. From using it constantly to resurrect characters like Thea and Sara to then conveniently destroying all of them (when fans actually wanted them to use it) in order to stick by their ridiculous decision to kill Laurel Lance, the writers have gotten far too trigger-happy with the device that it has become meaningless.

Oh now there are suddenly more. Yeah, whatever you say...

Now, for the positives...
