Batwoman Review: 7 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part 2'

Ups...

7. A More Character-Driven Offering

Crisis On Infinite Earths Batwoman Supergirl
The CW

While Crisis On Infinite Earths started strong, the first episode wasted absolutely no time throwing us into the initial battle that it felt like something of an open-and-shut case. The battle started quicker than anyone had time to process it (which is worrying considering that it has been planned for five years) and ended just as quickly. That did, however, pave the way for a more character-driven follow up.

'Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part Two' was very much focused on highlighting strength of character in both a crisis and a tragedy. While some (like Barry and Mia) were attempting to process what had happened, others such as Kate and Kara were more focused on what to do next in order to stop it from happening again.

Considering this episode was all about setting up the seven Paragons - particularly the Paragons of Hope and Courage - it made sense that this one would delve deeper into the characters, in order to show us why each of them are worthy of these titles.
