2. Alice's Backstory Revealed
After all this time, we finally have the truth. Yep, that's right, Alice has finally revealed what happened to her all those years ago after the crash and how it ultimately led her, for lack of a better term, down the rabbit hole of darkness.
The conversation between her and Kate was both a clever and effective device, as it allowed the writers to frame it as a good old catch-up between sisters when in fact they both (and we) knew that it was something much more sinister.
That being said, the flashbacks to Beth's kidnapping and subsequent kinship with Mouse added some much-needed context to her current behaviour as Alice, in spite of all she has done, ensured that all of us felt overwhelmingly sorry for her.
This was the in-depth exploration of Alice's origins that we needed and it was once again a solid reminder of why she is, without a shadow of a doubt, Batwoman's most interesting character.
