Okay, so can we all agree that Better Call Saul is great in its own right? It is no longer just the spin-off from Breaking Bad, it is its own animal with infinite complexities and intricate storytelling that widens the scope of the whole Breaking Bad universe more than the original show ever did.

Since it came along and slowly but surely shocked us all with just how brilliant it was, there have been many comparisons with the original series made by fans and critics alike. The weird thing is despite the two shows sharing the same fate and universe, they really aren't the same at all.

Where Breaking Bad was the saga of Walter White & Jesse Pinkman, following them as they made their way through the dark underbelly of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Better Call Saul is a sprawling epic, that takes us through the lives of not just Saul Goodman, but so many supporting characters that shape what is yet to come. Better Call Saul could also be said to be as much Mike's show as Saul's, even though his name isn't in the title.

Over the course of 5 seasons, both have been phenomenal in their own journeys and both have slowly become the men that we'd meet later on. So, as season 6 slowly makes its way through production, here are the 10 best episodes so far.

Going back to the halcyon days of series 1, back when the show had moments of drama mixed with a lot of dark comedy. Well, we're all laughing a lot less now because of the severity of pretty much every situation going on.

But, back then when Jimmy was running a quick con with his two-skateboarding companions, little did he know that he was about to run into his first Salamanca. Not the most stable one either, and as Tuco goes about deciding just how to kill Jimmy and the boys for trying to scam his Grandmother, Jimmy is rescued by one Nacho Varga.

This new kid Nacho seems to have some pull with Tuco and convinces him not to kill a lawyer as it would be bad for their anonymity. Agreeing with Nacho, Tuco decides to just kill the boys instead, Jimmy then talks them down from death to a leg-breaking.

The episode is downright tense but hilarious too, and it marked the first guest appearance by a Breaking Bad character in Tuco Salamanca. The fan-favourite was every bit as insane as we remembered and was more than just a moment of lip-service to the original show.

It also marked the first appearance of Nacho Varga, who has since become one of the greatest characters in the Bad universe.
