Better Call Saul: 10 Easter Eggs From The Pilot You Have To See

10. Tuco's Back!

Okay, so this one isn't so much an Easter egg as a terrifying sign of what's to come €“ although, considering it happened for a fleeting moment right at the end, it might very well have passed you by €“ the revelation that the old woman Saul's couple of skateboarding scam artists were trying to extort was no other than the mother of Tuco was pretty rad. The main antagonist of Breaking Bad's first season showing up at the end of Better Call Saul's first episode was a neat way of connecting the two series, building on existing continuity, but also it's just perfect as a cliffhanger. There was another Easter egg in there, though. At one point the skaters say €œtight tight tight€, Tuco's Breaking Bad catchphrase, suggesting a return of the trope of people €œabsorbing€ the habits of those they kill, like Walt starting to cut the crusts off his sandwiches after killing Krazy-8, who did the same.
