Better Call Saul: 10 Season 6 Fan Theories (That Could Come True)
6. Fring Saves Nacho... For Now
Nacho's current conundrum is the result of Gus Fring's hostile move against Lalo Salamanca and Lalo's meddling in Fring's affairs. This just may be the saving grace for Nacho Varga, as Fring is a man of dedication and delicate planning. Do we all really think that Fring knows nothing about how tough Lalo is and how he has presumably survived attacks like this before?
Only a man with a tunnel built into his bathtub has the foresight to build such a thing if he has already been in similar situations. So, although the last of the assassin team reported back to his superiors that Lalo was dead, Fring's own natural suspicion may dispute this.
This leads us to the fleeing Nacho. Perhaps Fring had a plan to get Nacho out beyond those gates and take him somewhere else, somewhere beyond the reach of the Salamanca family? Nobody in their right mind would bet against it, such is Fring's intelligence.
Assuming Nacho is picked up by Mike or somebody else, then what? Nacho's purpose in Fring's eyes has been served, and to the Salamancas he has been exposed as the rat.
Well, of the many places he could go, making sure his beloved father is safe seems to be his first priority. One thing is clear, then: even in the event of a seeming rescue by Fring, Nacho still has a job on his hands getting out of his situation alive.
Likelihood: 6/10
