Better Call Saul: 10 Theories For How It All Ends
1. It Ends With Jimmy's Death
Much like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul seems like it can only go one way for its eponymous character: He has to die.
Over the last six seasons, we've watched as Jimmy McGill has gone from promising lawyer to all-out villain; a slippery, narcissistic criminal who has ruined countless lives, helped dozens of dangerous killers, and whose actions have led to the deaths of numerous innocent souls.
Thanks to the sublime writing and the career-defining work of Bob Odenkirk, it can honestly be easy to root for Jimmy in spite of his flaws, but it's even easier to sit back and realise he's doomed, his luck having finally run out.
Based on his dealings with Lalo Salamanca, his indirect connections to Jack Welker's neo-Nazi gang, and the fact that he's a wanted fugitive, it seems that his days are numbered and he's destined to be taken down by a figure from his past.
How exactly he'll meet his end is up for debate, but it might just be the perfect farewell for such an irredeemable man, bringing his story to an unambiguous end which poetically mirrors the fate of Walter White.
