Better Call Saul: 6 Dead Breaking Bad Characters We Want To Return

1. Walter White

He deserved to die. Everyone knows that. Walter White descent from an every-day family man into ruthless drug kingpin was thrilling viewing, but there was only one way Breaking Bad could end, and that was Walt dead. And so it told in 'Felina', season five's final episode, when 'Heisenberg' finally got his comeuppance after being shot by a bullet from a machine gun he had secreted into the trunk of his car before his last stand-off with Uncle Jack and Todd. His demise, however deserved, was still emotional and it brought the curtain down on Breaking Bad in truly dramatic circumstances. But that may not be the last we saw of Walt - though it's likely it was the last we'll see of Heisenberg. Better Call Saul, prequel to Breaking Bad, is likely to feature the Bryan Cranston-played Walt before his life-changing cancer diagnosis and partnership with Jesse Pinkman. It would be a wonderful dose of nostalgia to see Walt again, probably in prophetic scenes that set up the beginning of Breaking Bad.
