Better Call Saul: 8 Questions Season 6 MUST Answer
7. What Happened To Lalo Salamanca?
Lalo Salamanca was a late introduction in the Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul universe but he hit the ground running and has become such a fan favourite because of his charm and brutal, violent nature.
He came in to replace Hector, who suffered a stroke after Nacho replaced his pills, and boy has he made his presence felt. What with murdering a civilian in the cold light of day and facing down both Kim and Jimmy when he (correctly) thought they had been playing him.
The question remains though, what happens to him? How does Gus retain the trust of the Cartel with Lalo doing his best to destroy Fring? Well, it seems sure that Lalo is probably going to end up dead because he isn't the type that can be bargained with. But that may also be the most obvious ending, which isn't something that Peter Gould or Vince Gilligan deals in. However, if death is the case, how does Fring not take some kind of blame for it and lose the trust of Don Eladio?
It is a mystery that has to be solved in season 6 and no doubt that whatever the team of Gilligan and Gould have in stock, it is going to be great television.
