Better Call Saul: Everything We Know So Far

1. Aaron Paul & Bryan Cranston Might Be Back

Vince Gilligan has already been open about his desire to cast his old characters once more in Better Call Saul, as he confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter in October:
€œPersonally, I'd have a hard time resisting putting all these guys in for a cameo or two every now and then. The sky's the limit with a prequel. Everybody who's now deceased in the Breaking Bad world is obviously still alive. You never know who might turn up and when and where.€
Of the Breaking Bad leads, it would seem that Aaron Paul is the more likely of the two to return for the prequel, since he was already involved in the criminal world before he was pulled into Walter White's story. And we have had some news since the show was announced via CBS News that Paul had had serious talks to return Jesse Pinkman to the show, focusing on his life as a drug-dealing grunt and cook:
"Anything Vince is involved with, I'm there. owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days €” because it's all a prequel €” it would be fun."
Meanwhile it seems unlikely that Cranston could appear in anything other than a cameo, but if Gilligan is keen, it's hard to rule anything out too definitively. Are you excited to see Better Call Saul? Share your thoughts below in the comments thread.
