Better Call Saul Season 3: 8 Huge Questions That Must Be Answered
6. Where Is Nacho's Story Going?
Like Howard and Kim, Nacho’s story is less predictable than those of other characters, both in where it’s going and how it’s getting there. Yet, with the knowledge that the Salamanca family is around in Breaking Bad, while Nacho is not, it hardly bodes well for him especially given that a man in his line of work is somewhat more likely to meet death sooner than Kim or Howard.
Last time we saw Nacho, he was inadvertently preventing Mike’s assassination of Hector Salamanca by blocking Mike’s line of sight, actions that may well come back to haunt Nacho if his attempts to remove the infamous Tuco from the equation ever come to light.
Observant fans of Breaking Bad might remember that the first time we heard Nacho’s name was in reference to a certain “Ignacio” that Saul, at gunpoint, blames for unspecified actions he mistakenly believes Walter and Jesse are enacting retribution for. That seemingly ties Nacho to Jimmy for the foreseeable future, and depending on how things shake out with Mike and the Salamancas, he may end up the first official client of Saul Goodman.
