Big Bang Theory: Sheldon's 10 Greatest Bazingas

2. Season 4 Episode 2: The MVPD

This episode had an interesting concept: Sheldon realises that he will likely die a few years short of being able to transfer his consciousness to a machine, so decides to try to increase his life expectancy by being healthier. However, when both jogging and eating vegetables proves difficult for him, he decides it would be simpler to stay in his room and send a monitor out in his place as the "Mobile Virtual Presence Device" (or ShelBot to his friends). The best moment that comes from this is when Leonard is driving Sheldon (via the MVPD) to work. Sheldon is proving aggravating in his incessant chat and use of annotated pictures and games, so Leonard turns the screen off, only for Sheldon to override this and shout "BAZINGA!" Understandably, Leonard is very surprised and swerves his car dangerously; not the most imaginative moment perhaps, but a rewarding one nonetheless. It was a good decision not to hint at the override system until then, as we jumped simultaneously with Leonard.
