3. Season 3 Episode 3: The Goth Club

A simple but brilliant joke: as Howard and Raj prepare to go to a goth club in order to meet women, Sheldon's contribution is "I've always wanted to go to a goth nightclub" before shouting "bazinga!" at Leonard's sceptical "really?" Aside from that joke's laughs in itself, this moment is made even better when Sheldon adds "none of you ever see my practical jokes coming, do you?" The ridiculous idea of that being a practical joke makes the whole thing that much better. This is one of those fantastic moments which prove everything I said about Sheldon in the introduction: he is totally in a world of his own and almost seems to just blurt out whatever pops into his head as potentially being funny. He's not very good at reading situations, and he could easily alienate his friends. Despite all this, he's extremely funny to watch.
