Surely Billy Bob Thornton cant make a simple act like collecting a piece of mail into a bad-ass moment? Or can he? In episode 2, Malvo goes to get a package from the mail office and intimidates the hell out of the postal worker without raising a finger. When asked for his name, Malvo retaliates with a question: Why? When he is told that he needs a name and ID to collect a package, Malvo replies no. The poor old kindly postal worker explains that he must have ID but Malvo responds: Am I going to need to come back there and find it myself? Malvo is a man with a face you just dont mess with. Not only does he scare the postal worker into getting him his package, he then signs off with the kind of line that makes him appear even more of a badass. The postal worker finds the package and says that this is highly irregular. Malvo explains that highly irregular is the time I found a human foot in a toaster oven... this is just odd. Odd or irregular, you just don't argue with Billy Bob Thornton.
