What do you do when someone calls you for help when they are being blackmailed? Well, if you're Lorne Malvo, you find the blackmailer, discover what they know about your client, and then take over the blackmailing duties. But Malvo doesn't stop there either. He ups the game from threatening notes demanding money, to bringing a biblical plague down on victim Stavros Milos. After Malvo discovers the blackmailer is a dimwit named Chumph, he enlists Chumph as a helper. Malvo is more concerned with bringing misery and torment to Milos than actually getting the money. He replaces Milos' medication with amphetamines, unleashes locusts into one of Milos supermarkets, kills his dog and makes pigs blood come out of his shower. If you ever want someone to think they are going insane, Malvo is the man for the job.
