Breaking Bad: 10 Reasons Why It’s The Best Show in T.V History

10. The Cinematography

There€™s a certain way that T.V shows are usually shot in order to keep the budgets manageable. T.V Cinematographers can€™t normally as all out as those that work on feature films, especially if a show runs up to 22 €“ 24 episode. They€™ve got to pace themselves; it€™s almost like a signature of the medium. Breaking Bad however runs for thirteen episodes, invariably meaning that the Cinematographers are able to cram more in. As a result, I often forget, if just for a second, that I€™m watching a T.V show and it feels like I€™m watching a movie. There€™s just so much of visual interest when you sit down to an episode of Breaking Bad; so many little techniques and tricks used to enhance the drama through visual stimulus. It€™s only an element sure, but since T.V, just like film, is a fully visual medium, it€™s an important element that if gotten wrong can throw a tarpaulin over a superior script. Get the balance right though, and you get Breaking Bad. Check out this compilation of Breaking Bad€™s many awesome P.O.V shots, and know you€™re witnessing greatness: http://vimeo.com/34773713
