Breaking Bad: 10 Reasons Why It’s The Best Show in T.V History

7. The Carnage

Again, I really can understand why some people find Breaking Bad to be slow moving. It€™s subtle. There€™s a lot there beneath the surface and even above the surface, but we€™re drip-fed it over long, drawn out, tension inducing sequences that last much longer than your average serial Drama. You€™ll remember listening open-mouthed at the exchanges between Walter and Gustavo; you€™ll remember rocking in mirth whenever Saul Goodman delivered his two cents. But then every now and again, you€™ll remember horrified you were by a sudden and unexpected act of extreme violence. Breaking Bad might just have some of the greatest carnage I€™ve ever seen on TV, made all the better by how limited it is, how little of it happens. It€™s not an all-out gorefest, which desensitizes us past caring. Breaking Bad€™s carnage is fully earned. Death is dealt only when death is necessary, but when it happens, jesus christ, it really does happen. Let€™s take a look at what has probably been the most insane, horrific carnage of the series so far: http://youtu.be/R6CjCEyAJ2s
