2. Games Of Thrones
Winter is coming, or is it? After three seasons we seem no closer to the end of this decade-long summer. Though we haven't seen winter we have seen plenty of incest, violence and nudity in a show that has brought the fantasy genre back to the mainstream public. It is a TV drama in epic proportions there is always something going on. Sheffield United fan Shaun Bean plays Ned Stark but sadly his club's recent woes is nothing compared to his death in season one. If you loved Breaking Bad for the morally ambiguous star Walter White then you won't be left wanting in Game Of Thrones. Only King Joffrey and Ramsay Bolton rank among the truly evil and the rest are in that grey zone, dancing between right and wrong based on their beliefs. It's also got a fine sideline in gut-punchingly shocking episodes just when you thought the show couldn't be better, something like the Red Wedding comes along and renders you speechless.
