Breaking Bad: 10 Worst Things Jesse Pinkman Has Ever Done

6. Selling Drugs At A Rehab Group

Breaking Bad

Jesse has done a lot of terrible things in his life, but most of them come from a place of desperate necessity. He's never killed someone unless he (or Mr. White) was in danger, and even blackmailing his parents was justified by the way they treated him in his eyes. The same thing can't be said for his off-the-books drug dealing in Season 3, however.

After rejoining Walter in Gus' super lab, Jesse looks to increase his take by siphoning some of the excess meth, and selling it to recovering addicts attending their weekly sobriety sessions. Obviously, that's a s***y thing to do, but it's made even worse considering Jesse has seen firsthand just how destructive drugs can be, and how vulnerable recovering addicts are.

It's a level even Walt wouldn't stoop to at that point, and fellow dealers Skinny Pete and Badger also wrangle with the morals of selling to addicts who are clearly struggling to better themselves. Eventually Jesse realises this too, and the scheme is short-lived, but it's still one his most unjustifiable moments.
