3. Giving Away Walter's Details To Crazy 8

Walt and Jesse's first run in with with a crazed drug dealer - suitably named Crazy 8 - went south almost entirely because Jesse royally f****d up.

Thinking he could trust him, Crazy 8 was courted as a distributor for Walt's meth, but it all went to hell and the criminal ended up chained and half dead in Jesse's basement.

That's not all on Jesse - as it was actually Crazy 8's partner, Emilio, recognising Walt as being present in the drive along when he was busted, that put their lives in danger - but he did make the decision to kill Crazy 8 that much more difficult.

That's because it's revealed that Jesse happily gave up everything about his partner to the distributor, including his real name, his job, and details about his family. This plays a huge part in Walt's decision to kill Crazy 8, as it made reprisals all the more likely.

It's the kind of slip up that could have gotten them both killed - and it nearly did.
