Breaking Bad: 10 Worst Things Walter White Has Ever Done
4. He Bombed An Old Folks' Home
Throughout Breaking Bad, Walt isn't the only man leading a double life. Mild mannered, restaurant owner and philanthropist Gus Fring is one of the most powerful drug lords in the country. Having threatened to kill his entire family, including his infant daughter, Walt decides the only way he can survive is if his boss doesn't.
Naturally, Gus' position left him with no shortage of enemies, and despite Tio Salamanca's hatred toward Heisenberg for what happened to Tuco, he hated Fring more. Walt laid a trap to bring the two together in the nursing home where Tio had been living, finally allowing him the opportunity to get rid of Gus once and for all.
Having planted a bomb on Tio's wheelchair, once he was alone with Gus (and his muscle Tyrus), Tuco's uncle hit the switch, killing all three men and ridding Walt of one of the biggest obstacles he faced on his way to the top.
While this was counted as a win for Walt, this was a bombing big enough to make the local news. When Tio pushed the button, there were absolutely no guarantees that any innocent residents or workers at the home would not have been within the blast range.
