Breaking Bad: 25 Greatest Moments

15. Gus Kills Victor

GuskillsvictorAs Seen In: Season 4 Episode 1: "Box Cutter" Gus Fring became one of the most memorable antagonists in recent memory during the two seasons he was on the show. His calm, polite demeanor gave him a mysterious quality, and it wasn't until the season 4 premiere that we really saw him get his hands dirty. After failing to save Gale in time, Victor brings Jesse back to the lab and Mike calls in Gus. Gus arrives, and says nothing as he dons an orange suit and begins pacing the lab. Walt immediately begins pleading for Gus to spare his and Jesse's life, claiming that without them, all Gus would have "is an eight million dollar hole in the ground." Still without saying a word, Gus takes a box cutter and slits Victor's throat in front of Mike, Walt, and Jesse. Blood begins to spurt everywhere, and even Mike looks afraid of Gus' sudden act of gorey badassery.
